Allen Visuals Cine Hire operates as an exclusive, closed-community rental house. To ensure the highest standard of gear maintenance and reliability for our network, all new clients must undergo a rigorous background check and approval process before gear is dispatched.
Please read our Terms & Conditions below. If you accept these terms, you may proceed to request registration by contacting us with your company details, ID/Passport, and proof of production insurance (if applicable).
1. Account Approval & Eligibility
Rental privileges are granted solely at the discretion of Allen Visuals. We reserve the right to refuse rental to any party without providing a reason. First-time renters may be subject to a refundable holding deposit equivalent to the excess of our gear insurance.
2. Liability & Indemnity
The client assumes full responsibility and all risks associated with the rented equipment from the moment it leaves our premises until it is signed securely back into our inventory. Allen Visuals is not liable for any lost production time, data loss, or consequential damages should equipment fail during a shoot, though all gear is rigorously tested prior to dispatch.
3. Damage, Loss & Theft
The client is fully liable for the repair or replacement costs of any equipment damaged, lost, or stolen during the rental period. If the client does not possess adequate short-term production insurance covering hired-in equipment, a deposit or specific waiver must be arranged prior to collection.
4. Late Returns
All rental returns must be made by the agreed-upon time (standard return is 10:00 AM on the day following the rental period). Late returns will be charged at a full daily rate per day, plus a 20% inconvenience penalty, as late gear impacts scheduled shoots for other community members.
5. Condition of Equipment
Clients are strongly encouraged to inspect and test all equipment during collection. Acceptance of the gear constitutes an agreement that the equipment is in good working order. The gear must be returned in the exact same clean, operational condition.
6. Cancellations
Confirmed bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the collection time will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
